DJ TACKTHAI
Thai DJs on the WORLD PRIDE stage

This is the first Thai DJ to perform on a world-class stage like World Pride. Let's give DJ TACKTHAI a big round of applause! “Being selected to go on stage like World Pride 2023, play the song on a large stage. There were over 20,000 people in attendance, presenting songs with a touch of Asia and my personality. It was an experience that I will never be able to erase from my memory. Especially when I received feedback from many people, even when I was on stage. and after work with people sending messages Tag me on their social media if you like the set of songs I play. It made me feel even better.”
Not only representing Thai DJs on the global stage, DJ TACKTHAI also has The DREAM Project, another important event that seeks to strengthen the techno music culture in Thailand. An event for techno music lovers and those who want to experience a new style of music to try again.
“Actually, I think every genre of music has its own artistic flair. But when I met techno music myself, I felt that it was very profound, both artistically. creativity It's like telling a story with music. So I want everyone to try to open their hearts to listen to techno music. Or maybe try to start with the work of The DREAM Project first.

Q: How has your new role as Mr. Gay Universe® Ambassador been?
P: If you ask how I feel, I have to say I'm happy and proud that Mr. Gay Universe® recognized my abilities and gave me the role of Ambassador, to be a voice for the community, to promote equality, acceptance of diversity, and to be a good example for the LGBTQ+ community. I still remember the moment I saw Mr. Gay Universe®'s announcement through various media outlets. Actually, the Mr. Gay Universe Thailand team had talked to me beforehand, but I misunderstood that they wanted me to be the Ambassador for Thailand. When Mr. Gay Universe® announced that I would be the organization's international Ambassador, and the first person in the world to receive this honor, I was shocked and felt incredibly proud of myself.
Q: What LGBTQ+ issues or problems are you currently interested in?
P: Discrimination by certain groups who don't give LGBTQ+ people opportunities to apply for jobs and work simply because of their diversity is something I want to see enforced and effective anti-discrimination laws implemented to prevent targeted discrimination. This is actually something I've always been interested in. Anyone who follows me knows it was a campaign I did during a competition in Thailand last year, and it even won an award at an international level.

Q: What are your thoughts on the statement that representing "Thai gays" requires maintaining a good image?
P: I'm confident that having a good image will bring good things to us, because Thai society still needs a lot of push for LGBTQ+ rights. If Thai gays have a good image, the outside world will be more open to accepting and understanding us.
Q: In a few days, the first Mr. Gay Universe Thailand will be crowned. Is there anything you'd like to say to this new person stepping into the workforce for the LGBTQ+ community?
P: Congratulations to the first-ever Mr. Gay Universe Thailand! And welcome to our work for the LGBTQ+ community. I'm ready to provide all the experiences to support him in proudly walking alongside the organization, and to continue working together with him with a commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
